SELVPORTRETT I SELFIENS TID
INGRID LYDERSEN LYSTAD
This book focuses on identity, who we want to be, and what we consider essential to convey about ourselves. Eight of Norway’s leading visual artists respond to the question “Who are you?” through their self-portraits.
Ingrid L. Lystad has interviewed Håkon Bleken, Tore Bjørn Skjølsvik, Marianne Heske, Håkon Gullvåg, Lotte Konow Lund, Esther Maria Bjørneboe, Shwan Dler Qaradaki, and Máret Ánne Sara.
Through images and words, the artists explore their identities from various perspectives, sharing what has been particularly significant in shaping who they are today. This is the first book in which Norwegian visual artists share their stories and self-portraits.
Thus, this book is highly relevant and a significant testament to our times.
